Determinata, ambiziosa e sognatrice: Roberta Risolo è un'artista salentina molto legata alla sua terra. Un vincolo che viene tradotto nelle creazioni che la stessa designer descrive come uniche ed eleganti.

Le sue interpretazioni creative si traducono in opere d'arte da indossare. Plasma il metallo con generosità. Incastona le pietre con altrettanta enfasi.

Il legno, quello recuperato dall'Ulivo della sua terra, crea monili essenziali e ricercati.

Chi è Roberta Risolo?

- Roberta è un' artista orafa otrantina. -

Quando nasce la tua passione per la gioielleria?

- Sin da piccola creavo con l’impasto delle orecchiette che preparava la nonna in casa. Erano delle creazioni minute, i gioielli per le mie bambole. Ho avuto la fortuna di avere subito le idee chiare e a 13 anni ho scelto la scuola che mi indirizzava verso la mia grande passione e scelta di vita lavorativa: l’oreficeria.-

Il Salento è fonte di tua ispirazione: quanto sei legata alla tua terra?

- Sono molto legata alla mia terra, il Salento ed in particolare Otranto, la mia città.

Negli anni in cui ho vissuto a Vicenza, formandomi nelle migliori scuole e aziende vicentine è maturata insieme all’esperienza la voglia di conoscere e scoprire un territorio, il mio, le mie origini, forse perché le scelte di studio ed lavoro mi avevano portata lontano, dal 2012 è cominciato un processo inverso quello che mi ha portata a tornare nella mia terra.

Qual è la collezione che più ti rappresenta?

- Tutte le collezioni mi rappresentano anche se in modo diverso. Tra le prime collezioni è la linea Key of the East (Otranto). La collana Chiave ha diversi simboli oltre ad essere molto elegante nella sua forma, rappresenta uno dei 16 raggi del rosone della Cattedrale di Otranto, con influenza gotico-araba, “Chiave” intesa come simbolo di apertura ai popoli.

Alcuni dei miei gioielli sono più essenziali con linee semplici come il legno d’ulivo, per me sono di forte impatto sensoriale, anche nella fase di realizzazione, basti pensare ai profumi che sprigiona il legno; poi ci sono linee più organiche che mi danno la possibilità di espressione e sperimentazione in riferimento alla natura nelle forme e colori come: Corteccia, Fico d’india e Abbracci, ma sono diversi i momenti in cui nascono le mie collezioni e per questo in modo diverso sono legata a tutte. -

Determined, ambitious and dreamer: Roberta Risolo is an artist from Salento very attached to her land. A constraint that is translated in the creations that the designer herself describes as a unique and elegant.

Her creative interpretations translate into works of wearable art. She shapes generously the metal. Enshrines the stones with equal emphasis.

With the wood, the one recovered by the olive plant of her land, she creates essential and refined jewelry.

Who is Roberta Risolo?

- Roberta is a goldsmith artist from Otranto. -

When did your passion for jewelry come about?

- As a child I created with the mixture of orecchiette prepared by my grandmother. They were minute creations, jewels for my dolls. I was fortunate to have clear idea already, and at 13 I chose the school that I addressed to my great passion and choice of working life: the goldsmith’s. -

Salento is the source of your inspiration: How much are you tied to your land?

- I'm very close to my land Salento and Otranto, my hometown.

During the years when I lived in Vicenza, studying in the best schools and companies in Vicenza, I gained experience with the desire to learn and discover a territory, mine one, my roots, perhaps because the study choices and work had led me away. From 2012 it began a reverse process that led me to return to my homeland. -

What is the collection that best represents you?

- All collections represent me even if in a different way. Among the collections, there is the first line called Key of the East (Otranto). Inside this, the Chiave (key, ed) necklace has different symbols, as well as being very elegant in its form. It represents one of the 16 rose rays of the Cathedral of Otranto, with Gothic-Moorish influence. “Chiave” understood as a symbol of openness to the peoples.

Some of my jewels are more basic with simple lines, such as olive wood, for me are strong sensory impact, even in the construction phase, just think of the perfumes that releases the wood; then there are more organic lines that give me the opportunity of expression and experimentation in regard to the nature in the forms and colors like: Bark, Prickly pear and Abbracci, but several are the times of birth of my collections and because of that and they’re differences, I am linked to all. -
