Conosciuto per una carriera nell’ambito della fotografia di moda durata più di cinquant’anni, Lord Snowdon è noto anche per aver sposato la Principessa Margaret, da cui poi avrebbe divorziato nel 1978.
Ma è l’immagine, un’idea di donna precisa, ad accompagnare invece tutta la sua vita professionale. Le sue opere, infatti, sono apparse sulle più importanti riviste del settore, una su tutte: “Vogue”. Ed è proprio Alexandra Shulman, editor in chief dell’edizione inglese del magazine, a ricordarlo: - (Snowdon) era uno tra i più importanti fotografi del suo tempo. La sua collaborazione con “British Vogue” è stata una delle più importanti nella storia del giornale”.
