Condé Nast ha infatti comunicato che sarà la figura di Emanuele Farneti a dirigere i magazine, succedendo così a Franca Sozzani e lasciando il suo posto di editor-in-chief a GQ. “Come tutti sappiamo”, dichiara Jonathan Newhouse chairman della casa editrice in una nota, “Emanuele succede alla straordinaria Franca Sozzani, la cui genialità ha reso Vogue Italia e L’Uomo Vogue un punto di riferimento in tutto il mondo per la moda e la fotografia. Ci può essere una sola Franca. Eppure lei stessa aveva riconosciuto che Vogue possiede una vita propria che trascende la creatività di ogni singolo individuo. Conosceva e aveva un grande rispetto per Emanuele, e credo che avrebbe approvato”. Queste le parole che inaugurano il nuovo percorso del neo-nominato direttore, della redazione e di tutto il mondo della moda.
