La doppia sfilata di Givenchy datata 20 gennaio a Parigi è stata l’ultima sotto la firma di Riccardo Tisci. Dopo 12 anni di attività e ben 93 collezioni, il 31 gennaio, giorno in cui scadeva il contratto, Tisci e la maison francese fondata da Hubert de Givenchy decidono di comune accordo di separarsi. Lo stilista italiano, attraverso l’account personale di Instagram ringrazia con affetto l’azienda e i suoi collaboratori. Sulla stessa linea è Bernard Arnault, chairman e chief executive officer del gruppo LVMH, che ricorda il lavoro svolto dal designer: “Ringrazio Riccardo Tisci per il suo lavoro da Givenchy”.
E così la collezione Haute Couture e quella dedicata all’uomo di poche settimane fa siglano l’epilogo di questa fortunata partnership lavorativa (e creativa). Chiusura che apre a un nuovo futuro per Riccardo Tisci, magari chez Versace.
The double shows of Givenchy dated 20 January in Paris were the last under Riccardo Tisci signature. After 12 years of activity and impressive 93 collections, January 31, the day when the contract expired, Tisci and the French fashion house founded by Hubert de Givenchy decide by mutual agreement to part ways. The Italian designer, through his personal Instagram account thanked the company and its employees. Along the same lines is Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive officer of LVMH group, reminiscent of the work of the designer: "I thank Riccardo Tisci for his job at Givenchy”.
So, the Haute Couture collection, and one dedicated to the man a few weeks ago sign the epilogue of this successful working (and creative) partnership. Closure that opens to a new future for Riccardo Tisci, maybe chez Versace.
