Quale futuro per la cultura dopo la neo elezione di Giorgia Meloni come Presidente del Consiglio

La mattina che segue quella delle elezioni è un po' come quella di Natale, quando non si vede l'ora di vedere quali sono i regali presenti sotto l'albero. Nel primo caso, invece, i doni sono - o si spera lo siano - le notizie date dai telegiornali. O, per chi non possiede la televisione, dai quotidiani, anche online. E così si sfogliano i primi titoli delle pagine, scoprendo, finalmente, chi e cosa ha votato il Paese. Ieri è stata l'Italia a essere chiamata a decidere il suo rappresentate, come Presidente del Consiglio e relativo partito.

Questa mattina il risveglio è amaro e non per la maggioranza dei cittadini, evidentemente. Ma per la cultura, per chi crede in un sistema sociale dove i diritti e i doveri sono realmente uguali per tutti. Non tanto perché al governo è tornata la destra, non perché Giorgia Meloni sarà il nuovo Presidente del Consiglio. Il motivo è un altro: osservare che un Paese non è più in grado di scegliere con lucidità, piuttosto per frustrazione. Ed è giustificabile, in un certo senso, visto l'andazzo inconcludente dei governi precedenti e di una crisi economica e non sempre più incalzante e logorante, per i giovani soprattutto.

And so you leaf through the first page titles, finally discovering who and what the country voted for. Yesterday it was Italy that was called to decide its representative, as Prime Minister and relative party.

This morning the awakening is bitter and not for the majority of citizens, obviously. But for culture, for those who believe in a social system where rights and duties are really the same for everyone. Not so much because the right side has returned to the government, not because Giorgia Meloni will be the new Prime Minister. The reason is another: to observe that a country is no longer able to choose clearly, rather out of frustration. And it is justifiable, in a certain sense, given the inconclusive trend of previous governments and an economic crisis that is not always more pressing and exhausting, especially for young people.

I giovani. Sono proprio loro insieme alle minoranze che, lentamente, si stavano prendendo la loro fetta di di diritti - perché effettivamente i doveri sono uguali per tutti - che tutti gli altri godono, le persone che soffriranno di più di questa scelta elettorale e delle dirette conseguenze: saranno sempre più impossibilitati a crescere, a investire su loro stessi: quando si prende dal proprio cassetto la tessere elettorale e dal portafoglio il documento d'identità bisognerebbe pensare anche a quelle fasce d'età non comprese tra i 40 e infiniti anni. Grazie.

Cosa comporteranno le azioni del neo governo? Impossibile a dirsi, ovviamente. La Meloni deve ancora ricevere la fiducia, per non parlare di tutte le altre tappe previste dalla "tradizione" politica per vederla finalmente (ma amaramente) seduta sulla sua bella poltrona presidenziale. Potrebbe dare un po' di conforto sapere che la maggior parte dei governi saliti in Parlamento negli ultimi anni non hanno fatto molto rispetto a quanto dichiaravano in campagna elettorale e sui loro programmi. Eppure lei sembra determinata, invoca San Francesco d'Assisi (ma perché tutti invocano sto povero santo che in tutto credeva tranne che nei valori espressi dalla leader di Fratelli d'Italia?) ed è riuscita a non farsi influenzare dalle vecchie leve dei partiti di destra in cui ha militato negli anni precedenti.

Meloni has yet to receive the trust, not to mention all the other steps foreseen by the political "tradition" to finally see her (but bitterly) sitting in her beautiful presidential chair. It might give you some comfort to know that most of the governments that have come to Parliament in recent years have not done much compared to what they claimed in the election campaign and on their programs. Yet she seems determined, she invokes St.Francis of Assisi (but why does everyone invoke this poor saint who believed in everything except in the values ​​expressed by the leader of the Fratelli d'Italia party?) right where he played in previous years.

Cosa ne sarà della cultura? La paura non permette di offrire una previsione, nemmeno uno spiraglio, una parola ottimista. Già le cose per il settore, dove si può benissimo includere la moda, l'arte e, ovviamente l'editoria, specialmente indipendenti, non andavano bene prima. E la sensazione è che la strada sia tutta in salita.

Non si hanno dunque delle certezze, ovviamente. Quello che si può fare è unirsi nei proprio micro-mondi, con i propri macro-ideali, e vivere come si crede meglio sia, valorizzando il proprio credo, nel rispetto degli altri, aiutandosi e creando interazioni stimolanti, incontri dove si possa alla fine avere la sensazioni di aver creato qualcosa. Delle factory, dopotutto. Buon Natale.

And the feeling is that the road is all uphill.

There are therefore no certainties, of course. What you can do is unite in your own micro-worlds, with your own macro-ideals, and live as you believe best, valuing your belief, respecting others, helping yourself and creating stimulating interactions, meetings where you can eventually to have the feeling of having created something.
