La bellezza è fragilità. La si incontra nei luoghi della memoria, nei riverberi emotivi, aiutandoci a riscoprire la vita nelle cose inattese. La bellezza si serve di immagini che restano oltre ciò che definiamo tempo perché solo il peso specifico della delicatezza può sedurre i meccanismi dei giorni, accarezzando l’eternità. Gala Rotelli accoglie la natura trasfigurandola nelle sue creazioni, e lo fa in maniera libera, delicata, con la perseveranza di chi non intende abbandonare i propri sogni.

Dettagli pervasi da fili di luce, composizioni che hanno trovato un equilibrio poetico, forme sospese, richiami alla natura e al cosmo, alle storie di ognuno, in ascolto della sostanza. Appunto, è nei materiali che si conserva un’indicazione, una traccia che delinei un percorso di creazione, perché la materia silenziosamente lascia indizi.

Beauty is fragility. We find it in the places of memory, in emotional reverberations, leading us to rediscover life in unexpected things. Beauty uses images that remain beyond what we call time because only the specific weight of delicacy can seduce the mechanisms of the days, caressing eternity. Gala Rotelli welcomes nature by transfiguring it into her creations, in a free and delicate way, with the perseverance of those who do not intend to abandon their dreams.

Details pervaded by threads of light, compositions that have found a poetic balance, suspended shapes, references to nature and to the cosmos, to everyone's stories, listening to the substance. Thus, the materials preserves an indication, a trace that draws a creative path, because the matter silently leaves trails.

Vetro, ceramica, marmo sono scelti e curiosamente indagati, lasciando alla forma finale la testimonianza della storia che ha dato vita al progetto. Sono processi impercettibili che Gala innesca e dirige, traducendo e trasformando, scegliendo e assemblando parti di mondo che si riflettono nelle creazioni. Così, la bellezza si inserisce nella realtà che attraversiamo come delicata distrazione dall’ordinario. La si può percepire nella trasparenza o nella plasmabilità dei materiali, nell’unicità degli eventi, e dei vissuti reali o ascoltati, immaginati e resi dettaglio, nei colori come nelle difformità che sono la manifestazione formale dell’identità.

Glass, ceramic, marble are chosen and curiously investigated, allowing the final form to witness the history that gave birth to the project. They are imperceptible processes that Gala triggers and directs, translating and transforming, choosing and assembling parts of the world reflected in the creations. Thus, beauty enters into the reality we go through as delicate distraction from the ordinary. It can be perceived in the transparency or malleability of the materials, in the uniqueness of the events, and in the concrete experiences or those just heard, imagined and converted into detail, in the colors as in the discrepancies that are the formal manifestation of identity.

Gioielli ma anche complementi d’arredo fanno parte di questo universo di forme preziose e bilanciate che lasciano risuonare frammenti di arte e di natura. Le creazioni di Gala Rotelli sembrano restituire la realtà ai preziosi e sconfinati territori della fragilità e dell’incanto, instaurando narrazioni visive frutto di equilibrio e armonia. E se l’arte legge, interpreta e traduce i segni dello spazio e del tempo, il design progetta, organizza, e misura quei segni garantendo che il messaggio resti intatto.

Non a caso, Gala è musa di Salvador Dalì, principio ordinatore del caos creativo, ma è anche concetto legato alla purezza e al bianco, come termine che indica un ornamento, o una serata elegante. I gioielli della designer sono tutti made in Italy, realizzati combinando le tecniche di modellazione in 3d con le tecniche orafe tradizionali tra Arezzo e Valenza.

Jewels but also objects are part of this universe of precious and balanced shapes that allow the resonance of fragments of art and nature. Gala Rotelli's creations seem to restore reality to the precious and unlimited territories of fragility and enchantment, establishing visual narratives that are the result of balance and harmony. And if art reads, interprets and translates the signs of space and time, design plans, organizes, and measures those signs making sure that the message remains intact.

Gala is not by chance the muse of Salvador Dalì, the ordering principle of creative chaos, but it is also a concept linked to purity and white, as well as a term for ornament, or for an elegant evening. The designer's jewels are all made in Italy, creating by mixing the 3d modeling techniques with the traditional goldsmith techniques between Arezzo and Valenza.

Un progetto avviato nel 2014 che si muove tra arte, design, moda e artigianato, e ha all’attivo interessanti collezioni e diverse esperienze di collaborazioni come la realizzazione di installazioni in vetro per il brand Acqua di Parma, o la creazione del centrotavola per il ristorante della chef stellata Viviana Varese. In queste settimane di incertezza collettiva, inoltre, la designer sta realizzando un progetto chiamato “Remebering beauty”, in cui invita follower e conoscenti a inviare immagini o parole legate a ciò che per loro significa bellezza, trasformando poi un dettaglio in oggetto.

In fondo, la bellezza è lì, sospesa tra le cose fragili che chiamiamo ricordi, attivata dalla luce che pervade instancabilmente la realtà, mantenuta in vita dalla nostra energia emozionale. La bellezza è negli scorci, negli echi silenziosi dei luoghi che abbiamo visitato, e in cui siamo stati sorpresi da un benessere inatteso, fino a poco tempo prima estraneo, dimenticato, o rimasto inascoltato. Eppure, resta in noi la traccia della bellezza, in quella capacità tutta dello sguardo, misterioso laboratorio dei sogni, di risvegliare l’essenza dell’Universo come sostanza e vita immateriale in divenire.

A project launched in 2014 that ranges from art, design and fashion to craftsmanship, including interesting collections and several experiences of collaborations such as the creation of glass installations for the Acqua di Parma brand, or the creation of a centerpiece for the restaurant of the starred chef Viviana Varese. During these weeks of collective uncertainty, the designer is also working on a project called "Remebering beauty", where she invites followers and relatives sharing images or words expressing what beauty means to them, transforming a detail into an object.

After all, beauty is there, suspended between the fragile things that we use to call memories, activated by the light that tirelessly pervades reality, kept alive by our emotional energy. Beauty is in the glimpses, in the silent echoes of the places we have visited, and in which we have been surprised by an unexpected wellness, not so long ago unknown, forgotten, or remained unheard. Even so, the trace of beauty remains with us, in the power of the gaze, the mysterious laboratory of dreams, in order to awake the essence of the Universe, which is both substance and immaterial existence in progress.
