La stilista, nata e cresciuta in Costiera Amalfitana - luogo che continua a essere una costante ispirazione per le sue collezioni -, propone una stagione estiva in cui il dettaglio principale è il vestirsi. Può sembrare una banalità ma le tendenze attuali all’interno del mondo prêt-à-porter vogliono donne (ormai anche uomini) che si addobbano di loghi, sempre gli stessi, finendo per essere uguali. Ma forse è un bene, perché poi l’eccezione risalta ancora di più. E se poi si aggiungono altri elementi come i tessuti goffrati in seta, i jaquard dai fiori geometrici ma romantici; altri liquidi - così li definisce Marianna Cimini -, come i satin lucidi delle tute e abiti, i nylon opachi dei peacoat e degli spolverini, il gioco è fatto. Un diletto di sfumature, di richiami a un ieri, così attuale da non sembrare mai passato.
